Sponsored degree programme for school leavers

It’s a three-year course that gives candidates a comprehensive overview of housebuilding: the skills involved, housebuilding quality, project management, health and safety, business skills and negotiation skills – right through to aspects of law, mathematics and economics.

Over the three years, every student completes six modules every year. The degree is fully accredited by Liverpool John Moores University.

It’s the perfect ‘next step’ for those who have received a strong set of A Level results and want a career in the industry, or for those people with a background in construction who are looking for further qualifications. It’s not an easy option, but it’s definitely a worthwhile one.

But don’t just take our word for it, ask students who have taken – or are taking - the course what they think – tweet @Redrowplc, using #RedrowDegree

My journey with Redrow began in March 2019 when, after some months’ job hunting, I spotted the opportunity to become a Trainee Quantity Surveyor for Redrow’s East Midlands region. I jumped at the chance! I’d always had a passion for construction, since my family have been in the housebuilding industry for as long as I can remember.

"My daily responsibilities include maintaining subcontractor relationships, orders and payments, analysing business costs and keeping a site running within budget. I am currently working on my Redrow Construction Management (Housebuilding) degree, which enables me to acquire a wider industry knowledge whilst gaining on-the-job experience.  The opportunities I’ve been given since joining Redrow have been amazing, including attending business conferences, joining the Redrow Ambassador Scheme, and inspiring the next generation. I would definitely recommend Redrow to anyone interested - I’m so glad I joined and can’t wait to carry on progressing in my career!”
