I have always been passionate about sustainable development and the environment, and wanted these interests to shape my career. My role at Redrow involves driving continual improvement of sustainability performance, including implementing initiatives to reduce waste, energy and carbon emissions. I collect and analyse data relating to our Social and Environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders. This feedback may be via analytical reports, articles on the Redrow PLC website, or even a Tweet on the company’s Twitter account.

“Since being at Redrow, the company has supported me in developing my skills; I have gained a Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (AIEMA) and will soon be carrying out internal environmental audits. I work with many different people, which I really enjoy. I joined Redrow in 2014 as an Admin Apprentice, and I won Group’s Apprentice of the Year and Coleg Cambria’s Business Administration Learner awards in 2016. After that, I was promoted to HR Assistant, and I went on to win Group’s Employee of the Year Award in 2019. I have now been promoted to the role of HR Data Analyst, which I am very excited about.

“In my role of HR Data Analyst, I am responsible for the system administration of the HR / Payroll System: ‘Your Redrow and Your People’. I produce regular reports and analytics from the HR / Payroll system for a number of departments. I enjoy the fact that my role gives me the opportunity to speak with a wide range of colleagues throughout the business on a daily basis.”
